COERR Mae Hong Son organized the training on Small Animal Husbandry for refugees in Ban Mae Surin camp on March 26, 2018, in which 34 participants of 18 female and 16 male attended. Another training was organized in Ban Mai Nai Soi camp on the next day, March 27, 2018, in which 28 refugees of 14 female and 14 male participated.
The training contents were about the management in raising small animal, focusing on poultry like chicken. Therefore the course has been aimed at providing proper healthcare that enable them to grow healthy with nutrient feed, health prevention, vaccination and medication. Training how to make animal feed fermentation from available raw materials in order to reduce cost. Vaccination and disease control medication was prepared to keep animals healthy.
Experience and knowledge skills will be put to very good use and will be transferred to the community members in their homeland in the future.
